Radio For Time Travelers

I believe I am a time traveler.

 

This photo was taken in June, 2023. It is something of a re-creation of where I might have been, and what I could have been doing in the summer of 1965 in the exact same spot! Rolling down Parsons Avenue approaching Frebis Avenue on two wheels. But in ’65 it would have been on a Murray bicycle instead of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Nonetheless, the destination is the same; on my way home from somewhere. And, get this, the same home I lived in then!

 

Cue the eye-roll and brace yourself for total disbelief when I tell you that I believe I am a time traveler. See what I mean?

 

But I believe it to be true and that’s all that really matters to me, because I am a simple fellow who accepts what I choose to accept, and I disregard others’ opinions of me if they do not mingle well with what I expect of myself, and what I am comfortable with when it is anything that concerns me.

 

Welcome to Heartlites Radio. It’s not for everyone, or it might be for many! Nonetheless, I am at ease with it and I look forward to finding ways to leave skeptics open to unimaginable possibilities. I needn’t prove what I claim any more than anyone else can possibly argue with proof-positivity that I am not who, or what I say I am. I traveled through time from the1960s and I am currently stuck in the 21st century with no way back.

 

Who can say with certainty that the camera lens did not capture an image at the exact moment I crossed over into a different time-continuum when I was a thirteen-year-old boy and the Murray became a Harley and I became as old as I seem?

 

If I am who I say I am, I really don’t belong here. But here I am, and I believe many more have skipped through time with me but haven’t realized it yet. We went through time together one way or another. Stay tuned.
